Endoscopic Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Using Bone-Patellar Tendon-Bone Graft

Endoscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions using bone-patellar tendon-bone autograft have been considered the ¢©gold standard¢©by which others are ocmpared. The important steps of this procedure are graft havesting, nothplasty,
isometricity,
tunnel placement and graft fixation.
It is critical to perform each step perfectly for the sucessfrul operation. Therefore it takes a long learning cure of inexperienced surgeon to master this procedure.
The purpose of this review article is to describe the surgical technique of endoscopic ACL reconstruction using bone-patellar tendon-bone autograft, and to explain the author¢¥s method to prevent the graft-tunnel length mismatch and to fix femoral
interference screw parallel to the bone fragment at femoral tunnel.
